Ever since I was a little kid, I was around computers thanks to my two older brothers and my father, who was crazy about computers. We had an old DOS computer, and I remember playing games like Rapor, Wacky Wheels, and Kosmos.
I dreamed of creating my own games, but unfortunately I never learned how to program. After graduating from high school, I started studying biology, so learning it again took a back seat for a while. However, I did a lot of computer work for my bachelor's thesis and used small scripts to make my work easier. That was my first encounter with programming. It didn't take long for me to realize that my passion for these scripts far exceeded my interest in biology. That's why I finished my bachelor's degree in biology and started studying computer science.
Since October 2018, I have been studying computer science, and I am absolutely thrilled about it! I started using Unity and participated in several GameJams with it.
Since then, I switched to the Godot engine, and I'm absolutely loving it! I even tried coding a bit on the engine itself and created a small pull request.
Currently, I'm working on my first bigger project, Hardened Chitin. Together with a friend of mine, we're developing a rogue-lite deckbuilder, so stay tuned :-)
